FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
• How does it work?
Quite simply, submit the work you require us to carry out in whichever form best
suits you, email, fax or hard copy, we will undertake the assignment as per your
requirements and then return the completed tasks via whichever means you
have requested.
• Do we need to meet?
The way in which we operate means that it is possible for your business to use
the services of Purely Assist and for us to complete assignments for you without
the need for you to meet with us directly, however if you would like to have
a personal contact and would prefer to meet to face-to-face, one of our
consultants will gladly arrange to visit with you and discuss your requirements
in greater detail.
• Do we need to provide any equipment or stationery?
Our ‘virtual office’ is equipped with all the necessary resources and technology
required for us to operate the services we offer. If you require us to print
documents on your company headed paper or other stationery you will need to
provide this.
• We need work urgently, can you deliver on time?
If we do not believe we can accommodate your time-scale in relation to other
client commitments and contracted assignments we will notify you at the time
of booking, and if we cannot negotiate a compromise we will not accept the
booking.
• Will you deliver finished assignments to me?
We will return completed assignments to you via any means you have specified,
however we do recommend that any original documents are sent by traceable
methods. Set fees will apply to the personal delivery of documents within a
five-mile radius by Purely Assist. Postal or courier charges will be applied at
cost price.
• Will my company information be handled confidentially?
Confidentiality and discretion are guaranteed; in addition we are happy to sign
confidentiality or non-disclosure agreements.
• What can I expect from you?
You can expect a discreet, reliable service with all assignments professionally
undertaken and completed to the highest standards at all times.
• What if I change my mind?
You may of course cancel your agreement with us at any time with the following
provisos: You must cancel your agreement in writing and for any assignments
that we have commenced you will be charged for work undertaken and any
expenses incurred in accordance with terms agreed at the time of booking. If you
wish to cancel your agreement under the Pay As You Go option you will be
refunded any full-unused hours. If you wish to cancel under the monthly fee
option, after the first month you will be refunded your monthly fee less any
expenses incurred or any work undertaken by us which will be charged at the
'As & When' tariff of charges. After the first month, any changes you wish to
make to your level of service, or service option, will take effect at the end of the
calendar month and you will continue to be charged at your current rate until
that time.
• Will I be charged by the part or the whole of an hour?
After the first hour per booking, part-used hours will be charged in 15 minute
increments, rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.
• Is there a minimum booking requirement?
We operate a minimum-booking requirement of one hour per booking.
• What are the payment terms?
If you hold an account with us, on the completion of assignments under the ‘As
And When’ option, invoices will be issued and payment is required strictly within
14 days of receipt of invoice, unless otherwise agreed. 'One-off' assignments or
non-account holders will be operating under a payment on delivery agreement.
Payment can be made by cheque or BACS payment. Any charges incurred as a
result of unpaid cheques will be the responsibility of the client. Failure to pay
within the terms of the agreement will result in additional charges.
